FemCode
Part of The Code Suite
A perimenopause platform · Launching Q3 2026

Perimenopause is more than hormones.

Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional disorder in women — and it hits hardest in the years before menopause. FemCode tracks iron alongside symptoms and cycle, so the picture is finally complete.

Why iron 01

You've been told it's just hormones. It's often more than that.

The fatigue. The brain fog. The mood that flips without warning. Most perimenopausal women hear the same line: "it's just your hormones." But heavy bleeding — which is common in this transition — depletes iron stores. And iron deficiency causes the same symptoms hormonal changes do.

Without iron tracking, you can't tell which is which. Without knowing which is which, your doctor can't either. FemCode was built to close that gap.

02 · What it tracks

Four lenses on the same body. One picture.

01 · Iron

Ferritin trends, plainly read.

Log your lab results when you get them. See your iron stores trend over months and years, with plain-language interpretation — not just a number, but where you sit relative to the threshold most clinicians consider optimal.

  • Manual lab entry or upload your results
  • Threshold tracking against the 50 ng/mL optimal mark
  • Trend notifications when stores trend low
  • Built-in prompts to reschedule rechecks
02 · Symptoms

Daily check-ins, built for the chaos.

Energy. Mood. Sleep. Hot flashes. Bleeding. Joint pain. Brain fog. Track what's actually moving in your body — fast taps and sliders that take under a minute a day. Patterns emerge over weeks; the app surfaces them.

  • Under 60 seconds per daily check-in
  • Tracks the 12 most common perimenopause symptoms
  • Cross-references with cycle and iron data automatically
  • Weekly pattern summary, written in plain language
03 · Cycle

For cycles that don't behave.

Most cycle apps assume a steady 28 days. Perimenopause doesn't. FemCode is built around irregular, unpredictable, sometimes-skipped cycles — tracking the bleeding pattern itself, not a prediction that won't hold.

  • Designed for irregular and skipped cycles
  • Bleeding volume and duration logged honestly
  • Optional cycle-phase prediction (clearly marked as estimate)
  • Compatible with IUDs, HRT, and post-hysterectomy use
04 · Reports

One page. Built for your doctor.

Generate a clinician-grade summary before your next appointment — iron trend, symptom pattern, cycle history, in a format your provider can scan in under a minute. No wellness fluff. No emojis. The information your visit needs to be useful.

  • One-page PDF, formatted for clinical review
  • Iron, symptoms, and cycle on a single timeline
  • Export anytime — your data, your file
  • Shareable via email, AirDrop, or printed in-office
03 · How it feels

A minute a day. A picture that builds.

Three cards. The day's check-in, your iron, your cycle. Done.

Insights

Pattern detection, plain-language. No wellness scores.

History

Six months of iron, symptoms, and cycle on one chart.

04 · Who built it

Built by clinicians. From the inside.

FemCode is built by Epic Media, a women's health software studio led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a sub-specialty in pelvic floor and nervous system work — supported by a clinical psychologist serving as advisor.

This isn't a wellness app dressed up in clinical language. It's a tool built around a clinical thesis: that iron deficiency is the most overlooked driver of perimenopausal symptoms, and naming it deserves its own product.

Common questions.

Don't see what you're looking for? Email hello@femcode.app.

Is FemCode medical advice?

No. FemCode is a tracking tool, not a diagnostic one. We help you see patterns in your iron, symptoms, and cycle — and bring those patterns to a healthcare provider who can interpret them. If you're experiencing severe symptoms, please contact your doctor directly.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell user data. We don't share it with advertisers. Your health information is yours, and our business model is the subscription, not your data. The full privacy policy will be published at launch.

Does this work with an IUD, HRT, or after a hysterectomy?

Yes. FemCode tracks symptoms and iron regardless of contraceptive method or surgical history. The cycle features adapt to your reality — if you don't have cycles, the cycle module becomes optional.

When does it launch?

FemCode is targeting Q3 2026 for public launch, following a private beta. Join the waitlist and you'll be invited to the beta first, with founding-member pricing locked in.

What makes FemCode different from other women's health apps?

Two things. First, iron tracking is treated as a primary signal, not an afterthought — most apps don't track it at all. Second, the cycle module is built for irregular and skipped cycles from day one, not for the steady 28-day cycle that perimenopause leaves behind.

Can I share my data with my doctor?

Yes. Premium users can generate a one-page PDF summary at any time — designed for clinicians to scan in under a minute. It can be emailed, AirDropped, or printed before an appointment.
